Hi there I’m Rosie!

I am a photographer based in St Albans specialising in headshots for actors, freelancers and those in the corporate world too. I am an actor myself with training from Italia Conti and Identity School of Acting; take a scroll to the bottom of this page for a couple of my latest screen endeavours!

With experience on both sides of the camera, I know how influential a great headshot can be.

My photography journey began in 2017 after private tutoring with Stephanie Belton, a well-regarded and successful photographer in my local area. With her guidance and support, I quickly climbed the ropes, found my style and Rosie Hancock Headshots was officially open for business. 

Whether you are a new face entering the acting world (with lots of questions I’m sure, which I can help you answer!) or a seasoned pro looking to update your portfolio, ensuring you have an engaging and interesting selection of headshots under your belt is one of the most influential tools to improving your chances at being selected for those all important auditions. Similarly, headshots are an important branding consideration that should not be overlooked for business owners and for corporate jobs too.

On shoot day, we meet at my house and chat over both my experience and yours.  We will discuss how I can help you, what you would like to get from the session and lastly, I will explain just how easy its going to be to capture your strongest headshots yet. Our headshot session together will be based taking full advantage of the natural light around us. There will be plenty of time throughout the session for you to change outfits (and hairstyle if desired), something I recommend to ensure we photograph a variety of looks.
